Through a generous donation from the Affordable Housing Management Training Foundation, FOCUS is able to provide grants for training and continuing education for housing professionals who work in affordable housing – in management, resident services and maintenance. Assistance is also available to housing employees who would like to improve their English language skills.
Training opportunities include, but are not limited to those provided by such established training programs as New England Assisted Housing Managers Association (NEAHMA), New England Resident Service Coordinators, Inc. (NERSC), Spectrum, Inc., National Center for Housing Management (NCHM), National Association of Housing and Redevelopment Officials (NAHRO), Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and training programs developed by or with the assistance of the Non-Profit.
