For Our Communities – FOCUS, Inc. is a Massachusetts non-profit corporation organized and operated for the following charitable purposes:
- Conducting activities that facilitate and promote affordable housing through joint ventures and/or contracts with for-profit and not-for-profit developers;
- Supporting the residents of affordable housing through services and activities;
- Providing educational assistance to young adults through hosteling, so that they may gain a greater understanding of the world and its people;
- Funding training and continuing education opportunities for professionals in the field of affordable housing.
The corner-stone of FOCUS is its mission to bring services to residents of affordable housing that will promote success and well-being. These include, but are not limited to the following:
